Great news for fans of Japanese culture: the famous Japanese ensemble “HIDExHIDE” returns to Russia with a big tour after an eight-year break!
The team will perform unique programs in Moscow, Belgorod, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Sovetsk and Perm.
The initiative of the tour belongs to a close friend and partner of Mesopharm LLC, Tatyana Naumova, who has been working with musicians since the very beginning of the project's cooperation with Russia. Tatyana Naumova, a professional Japanese orientalist and a translator, accompanies the concert performance with a story about interesting facts from the life of the group, and provides interactive communication between the musicians and the audience.
A journalist from “Musical Klondike” talked to Tatyana about the peculiarities of Japanese musical culture, about cooperation with Vera Tariverdiyeva, and about the secret of HIDExHIDE’s success in Russia: READ AN INTERVIEW.
The HIDExHIDE tour was fully supported by the Japan Foundation. The project was included in the list of official events of the Year of Japanese-Russian Interregional and Twinning Exchanges 2020-2021.
The performers consider themselves as a part of a new musical direction, which means the concept of the development of national musical traditions in the modern world.
